Morning will be devoted to making quick sketches of multiple objects to observe contour, proportion, texture, use of negative space to create objects, and importance of light and dark areas for modeling form and showing folds in drapery. The afternoon will be for creating a dynamic still life drawing from two arrangement styles - the simplicity of Morandi or complexity of Cezanne - emphasizing relationship and placement of objects.
Materials fee will cover class supplies. Please bring a lunch.
